Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
'Til it's gone

1.
Superboy doesn't say much.

It's not that he doesn't want to. It's just… Well…

He doesn't actually know what to say. He knows that Kid Flash can't answer him, but what do you say?

Superman's been trying to explain it to him. To explain the whys and wherefores of things. According to Superman, the best thing to do is just tell KF about his day, just talk.

"Superman's been teaching me how to fly, but it's still not going to well…"

2.
"It's far too quiet Kid Flash." M'Gann said. "I've been practicing my baking... I brought you cookies. They're better than what I used to make.

"I actually manage to take them out on time, now. Do you like them?

"Hello Megan… You can't answer me.

"I wish you would."

3.
Kladur doesn't know what to say to Kid Flash. After all, it was his fault that Kid Flash was laying there, his fault that he wasn't up, jumping around, talking to his friends.

He settles with just not going to visit Wally at all.

It's ridiculous, and stupid, and illogical, but Kaldur just can't.

He buries himself in his training, and hopes that he'll never have to go through with that feeling again.

4.
"You're an annoying sack of shit, you know that, right Kid?" Artemis said, arms crossed defensively.

"You're too damn quiet. I wish you'd say something- I wish you'd say anything.  I mean, I never thought I'd say it, but I wish you'd be telling me off, and telling me how I'm not as good as Roy." Artemis shifted, till she was looking away.

"We were talking about asking Zatanna for help, but we all know how you feel about magic. It would be funny, though. I wonder how you'd explain that with science!"

5.
"I wish you'd just answer me KF" The young man said. It was winter. It was always winter it seemed, maybe because KF wasn't cracking off his jokes to cheer people up. Hell, there wasn't any noise.

"You were never supposed to be the quiet one Wally," Robin continued. "You were always too… You for that. You being quiet it's… It's just wrong.

"I can't believe we let them get to you KF. If I could go back, and stop them, I swear I would. If I could do anything, I'd fix this." He twitched, feeling antsy, and wanting to punch something. But, Batman would disapprove. Everyone would disapprove.

"Dammit Wally…" Robin carefully put the flowers against the memorial. "…I miss you."

Someone on Fred asked for a story where Wally doesn't talk. Like, at all. I made this fill (though it's not 100% accurate to the prompt), and, with the OP's permission, I posted it.
